At the CPSN Launch on October 26, over 130 educators from across the country gathered virtually for the very first time. CPSN research assistants Gladys Ayson and Sajani Karunaweera put together a presentation to provide an overview of their impressions from meeting with all the English schools to onboard them into the network. In this presentation, reoccurring themes of hope and optimism for the future of the network were highlighted and the collective voice for need to incorporate play into the Canadian school curriculum was echoed. The research assistants also put together a word cloud (seen below) to show “what learning through play means” to the schools of the network.
